I’ve enjoyed traveling all my life – since my first car trip with my parents out of the city.  My first overseas vacation was when I was 8 and we went to Europe for 4 months.  That was a long time ago, and even though many of my travels have been to places that have greatly changed over the last 40 years, I hope my mis-adventures can resonate with even the youngest reader.

This is not a travel blog.  I am not going to give travel advice or tips.  We all know how to find info on sightseeing, right?  so, no, this is a collection of reminiscences of the unexpected and unplanned during a lifetime of travels.
